The Magical Mystery Tour

Sir Paul McCartney was amazing!!!!! Yea for the 2 time in 3 years I got the opportunity to see the best living Ex-Beatle. And it was amazing! I went with Ash and her fam-bam, and even though we didn't have tickets together, within two minutes I was able to convince people to move so that we could sit together....my father would have been proud. My dad taught me all the tricks of the trade when it comes to event seating: how to upgrade, where not to sit, how to look natural, and how to mingle with people. So after the whole family, Julie, Chuck, Court and Ash were reunited, the concert started and Happiness ensued....especially when McCartney busted out "Baby Face." Oh the look on Ashley's face was priceless. The 63 year old played for 3 hours and played a total of 38 songs! That's right, when was the last time u went to a concert and heard 38 songs and enjoyed 3 hours of music?? McCartney was worth every little penny and then some. And it was amazing to be included in the Perkins family event too! So yea, I'm a little scattered in this post, but I don't care, because McCartney was amazing!

My Updates

Hey folks! Yup its your favorite stranger Greg! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I just haven't had much to publicly post. Although I have been "posting" somewhere else. Story:

Ok, so over the summer, while working at Walgreens, I usually stock up for back to school when notebooks, etc, go on sale plus my 15% discount. So I bought like 7 one subject notebooks for about 10 cents each. Then when I got home, I realized something....I don't even use 1 subject notebooks. So now I had 7 one subject notebooks and no need for them. So I took a page out of the R-Dubbers and started my own personal journal. But I didn't like the idea of have a journal. I just didn't like the idea to write down every little thing that happened in my life, "today I found $15!! Yesterday I saw Nick. I talked on the phone with ashley...I love her....awwwwww" Granted all that stuff is true, but I knew that looking back on it, I wouldn't really care. I know that I love ash, I know that I hang out with nick, and well $15 just isn't that monumental nowadays. So I didn't want to write about daily occurrences. But what about my thoughts? So there it is, I was going to write down my thoughts, random shit that is up in my head and I want to write down. So there it is my thought journal....*sigh*. Ok now I just don't like the idea of a journal. I don't want a journal or a thought journal for that matter. So while talking to Nick at our usual Bickford's therapy sessions, I told him my idea that I was keeping all my thoughts in my....notebook. Hmmmmm Notebook. I like the idea of that. Why call this one subject something that it isn't...There is was. The birth of "Notebook". Not THE NOTEBOOK!! But just plain and simple...."Notebook". I was very happy with this and although I've had it for about 3 months now, I still only have about 7 entries. But there lies the beauty. I don't feel compelled to write in it, because no one else is reading it, and its not like I am going to have to backtrack and tell my journal what happened last Thursday or anything. So I am happy with "Notebook" because it cuts right to the core of me. I put the pen to the paper and write, and I don't worry about people reading it later, because I don't care, this is my mind, deal with it. That and no one should be able to read it without my consent. But its a great venter for me as well as a place of peace.

So that's my post ladies and gentleman, I will try and post more, but I just haven't been inspired lately...I'm sorry!

College Part Duex

Well folks, it has been awhile since my last post, ive been quite busy, yet i dont really have much news. Im back at college, good ol' Stonewall 2333, with the greatest guy in the world Steve Rand as my roommate! Its sooo great to see everyone again. I have been seeing a whole lot of the gang and a whole lot of Ricky, who lives in the next building, and i can actually see through his window...kinda scary. I havent seen as much of Kevin and Andrew as i wanted, or Jenn and Jena really, but its still very early and we are all getting adjusted.

My classes are going fine, and im having a lot of fun. And honestly, thats the only thing thats really new for me. I'm not feeling too creative, so i have no post really, but thank you for wasting your time and reading my blog!
