Spring Break
Hey everyone. Just sitting here at my computer...still coming down off the incredible high that was my spring break!
As you all (should) know, I was able to go to spring training this year, thanks in large part to my AMAZING girlfriend and her EXTREMELY generous parents (who paid for our flight) and grandparents (who let us stay with them in Fort Myers).
So here I am, with a virtually expense-free spring break with my girlfriend....who get this....is actually excited to spend spring break watching the Sox and being autograph hounds! I LOVE HER SOOOOO MUCH!!! I mean honestly...Ashley Perkins is friggin perfect!
But I digress. :p
So I am currently working on my sports writing article which I should be posting here later, along with a run-down of daily activities/summary will be posted later too!
Anyways, here is the teaser for my up-coming post. The top ten Interactions that I had with Sox players!
10. Kevin Youkilis doing a backwards wave to me after I yelled.
9. Mike Lowell waving as he ran by.
8. Adam Stern pointing as he warmed up.
7. Alex Gonzalez waving and giving me the peace sign.
6. Johnny Pesky sitting out for about an hour everyday to sign anything put in front of him.
5. Luis Tiant waving to me after I shouted out to him.
4. Al Nipper saying "Good, How are you?" to me after I asked him how he was today.
3. Trot Nixon walking straight to me after warm-ups to sign autographs.
2. Gabe Kapler being an extreme gentleman to the crowd and meeting him twice.
1. Having Peter Gammons talk to me like he would talk to ESPN about the Red Sox.
AMAZING!!!
